Job Title: Propane Driver
Salary Range: Depending On Experience

Supervisor: Propane Manager
OVERVIEW:
This position is located within the Propane Division and is under the direction of the Propane Manager. The driver is responsible for all propane deliveries within the Gila River Indian Community, including set/install and repair tanks and outside lines, conduct system tests and purge cylinders and tanks consistent with company standards and maintaining related documentation. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with after-hours emergency call-outs and communicate clearly and effectively to convey information to new and existing customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Delivers propane to the community, must be knowledgeable with the Gila River Indian Community
- Ensure all Company and Government safety, policy and regulatory standards are met and maintain zero preventable accidents
- Perform basic outside leak repair
- Maintain safety and compliance records
- Deliver fuel as required and meet established performance standards, such as billable time, productivity and efficient usage of inventory and equipment
- Notifies management of any issues that might impact safety, customer satisfaction, productivity and other established goals and standards
- May be required to work weekends
- Ability to work well with others
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent training and experience
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with a HazMat endorsement and meet applicable state and federal licensing and certification requirements
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have prior propane experience
- Maintain service vehicle by reviewing maintenance records, perform pre and post trip inspections
- Operate service vehicle in accordance with Company and Government regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
- Perform other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical demands include lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and climbing in and out of the truck. The ability to lift up to 25lbs is required.
